Cheese&Wine
Probably, if i could only eat one thing, I would choose cheese.
If i could only drink one type of alcohol, I would choose wine.
Then why I not gonna like this. Cheese soaked in wine or prosecco! Delicious.

The breakfast club hoxton
I Felt like I was in NY. Eat chocolate brownie with ice cream after theater.
Also quite important to have a place where you can drink tea or coffee until midnight.
That's rare in East London, most of cafe just offer alcohol after some certain time.
This is new good place to meet friends whole day. Very specious and pretty interior.

Before and after
I had my wisdom tooth out yesterday.
Dentist recommended me to choose cool drink and minced or soft food within 24 hours. My food life have to change during that.
Pre operation meal
Dinner; Beef&Panchetta wine tomato source ravioli
Lunch; Egg mayonase panini
Post operation meal
Dinner;My first ready made soup. I spend 20min to choose into one because it was new section for me...
but I didn't impressed by that...
Dessert; Green&black's chocolate ice cream.
I only could eat something cold and soft, right? Not too bad!

Slow club
The longest day of year dinner
I didn't realized that yesterday was longest day of year until V called me. The light stayed in the sky until 10pm or even later. My hair stylist came to do hair color for me as birthday present! I love my new look, feeling fresh and exciting! Thank you!

Salmon, Shallot and chard cream risotto
S gave me some mustard spinach and chard from her garden.
I already ate mustard spinach the other day and wondering how I use the chard.
Today, I was working whole day for paper work. One of these day, I don't have much motivation to cook something special but I want to eat nice dinner. I decided to cook risotto.

Mince meat
I went to see preview of "Mincemeat". Cardboard Citizens takes over a Shoreditch warehouse for this production, unravelling the truths and the untruths surrounding a World War Two intelligence operation. The play shows in massive ware house with a lot of rooms. We audience also move to one to the other room in each scene. Acting was passionate and very interested stage set and story. Good coffee in Local
Climpson & Sons on Broadway Market offer very good coffee. I like this place to meet up with friends on weekday. Weekend could be a little bit hustle to get good coffee, It get too crowded with all those people come to market. Food menu has really good sandwiches and various salad. They source their ingredients from local businesses, aims to help community. There is one more coffee shop i like in local but this place i want to keep it secret because we local need to have a place to get very good coffee without hustle, don't we?

How many times we will have birthday in our lifetime?
I never knew if I still fighting how I could be myself when I got my age. There were amazing things happen to me and also things difficult to understand. Well, I guess it is not happen only to me but everyone. Still what I found those days is I have friends they are here for me for life. It is very fortunate. I recently got birthday presents from two of my best friends in UK(one from my extend family). I could fell their love even from package and it was so beautiful that's why i still can't open it. It stays on my kitchen table to makes me happy. It is so personal and made me really really happy. Thank you and I love you.

Day of Chinese
Some how I got this idea, "Sunday is day of Chinese"
Maybe it is because my dad used to love Chinese food and if he is around on Sunday, we always have Chinese lunch at home or went to Chinese restaurant. That's why? I followed this family tradition yesterday.

I went to Leong's legends@Soho for dinner with couple of friends . I recently go to this place quite often because it's very nice and slightly different from all those Chinese(it is Taiwanese). However don't expect good service... Shorompo(Steamed pork dumpling) is one of my favourite dim sum! very Juicy!! yum yum...

Their special soup(right), it is very special and one of reason why I like this place.

Aubaine
Aubaine(http://www.aubaine.co.uk) is my favorite place for French baguette in London.A frinds of mine, truly Parisien introduced me here couple years ago. Since then I always buy baguette from them when I pass nearby. Also to eat in their restaurants is quite good too. Today I had business lunch there.
This was my lunch; Goat cheese and tomato tarte and their famous bread!

Japanese Tapas in London
Tonight, I cooked for K and S, with theme of real Japanese dinner at London(or Dinner for people who miss Japan?). We were all tired and I even thought call off tonight but I decided to do before my Japanese ingredients gone. They always enjoy fully my food. Once dinner had started their face start smiling. K said food is power, I gave them a power! That's made me really happy. How happy to share food with people who really appreciate.
Appetiser; Edamame(Green beans), Ikanokuchi(BBQ 0f squid mouth),
Chiken fillet BBQ, Salted fermented squid guts, tuna roll sushi.
fish marinated with saikyo Miso.
Grilled Smaked Atka mackerel
Chicken fillet filled with cheese & seasonal asparagus
Japanese sweet; Dark and white chocolate with raspberry,
fresh caramel, seasonal strawberry(Well, this is English).
Appetiser; Edamame(Green beans), Ikanokuchi(BBQ 0f squid mouth),
Chiken fillet BBQ, Salted fermented squid guts, tuna roll sushi.

Another sweet?
This looks very much a biscuit but actually this is a birthday card from K.
I wonder how people think I'm crazy about food. I know once I start talking about food, I got so excited easily...
Well, I'm loving it still I sometime could skip a meal, when I'm lazy and if it's just for myself. Reason why I think food is so important is I could share it with people, this is more important than actual meal. While I was staying in Tokyo this time, I could able to meet so many of good friends and spend great time. You made me really happy and I want to thank you, even to some couldn't make it this time. Hope I could share nice meal with you very very soon. You are my sweet*

Japanese Sweet
I have toothache. Maybe I was spoiled with too many sweet gifts while I was in Japan. These are only part of it, I really had so many... now I do need to take care my tooth...
Summer orange preserved in sugar; A lady I bought whitebait in lzu, she gave me this. She made it and i guess she was keeping it in shop's fridge to eat by herself. I love to shop in local. Much enjoyable to have communication and sometime good surprise happen.
Fresh caramel; This caramel is so popular, kind of trend item in food.
Apparently, even difficult to get it.
Crisps coated with chocolate. It's very unusual and I wasn't sure if it works but it works. Feels even funny to try but once you try, you cannot stop eating it. Very innovative, I thought.
This is another popular item, Rusk from Gateau Festa Harada.
Japan always has trend in food and sweet, people are crazy about it.
Although I'm very glad I have so many crazy friends* Thank you, I enjoyed a lot.

Tokyo style BBQ
Beef Kitchen is BBQ place in Nakameguro, Tokyo.
Friends invited me there to celebrate my birthday.
This is a very modern style BBQ. The place looks more like a bar or a cafe.
No wonder this place was produced by a model/fashion designer.
Very stylish than any other typical BBQ places.

Bagna cĂ uda with Vegitable
This was new, never seen before. The foam in front of meat is made from lemon.
Normally we dip beef tongue meat into lemon squeeze but They serve this instead because it's more milder and don't disturb to enjoy taste of the meat.

All the meat is very soft and melt in your mouth, top quality. Also waiter describe us how each caw grow up and what is best way to eat for every single dish. They are beef sommelier.

Desert time! They make sherbet in front of us! It was exciting.
