Gourmet shoes
Don't worry, I don't eat shoes. I just went to Gourmet shoes launch party in Good hood store yesterday. Atmosphere was if I was in Harajuku. A lot of hip stars were there.
Then, head to Stockwell to see gig. There are coupe of live performances, comedy and cabaret. Here is more like Shimokitazawa. Tokyo night in London. Fun Fun Fun!

Paella
A made me real paella. I'm quite curious to know all regional food because there are always reasons why people love it and why it became their traditional food. Climate, soil and culture are always have strong influence. It is very interesting. That's one of my topic I'm learning at this moment. Also how each dishes defined as their special. Anyway, back to A's Paella, it was the one of best paella I ever had. I will learn soon, Exciting!

Dinings
Dinings (Tel 0207723 0666) is contemporary Japanese restaurant located residential area in Marylebone. I found this place from food magazine and I always wanted to go. When I show this article to my colleague, He found out one of owner chef is his school hood friend. He set my late birthday dinner up there. Wow, how lucky I am!

I just realized we had 10 course meal there. It was chef's choice. Also we finished three bottle of wine for three of us! The chef used to work in Nobu and Dinings serve same level or even better quality food in slightly affordable price. Each dish was so gorgeous, something you would like to eat before you die. Definitely need to book table in advance. One of best contemporary Japanese in London for sure.

Day off
Finally my day off come. Today I wanted to do so many things I couldn't do it whole week. laundry, cleaning flat, go to bank, food shopping, jogging, extra sleep etc... All I did was extra sleep and had a coffee with friend.
On the way back from coffee, we found one rope is pitched between two big tree. We asked a girl if we could try it too. All you need is concentration and balance to walk rope. It is much difficult than you see someone doing it but it is really fun. After we tried, it was turn for two little girls. Always kids could learn quicker than adult or maybe they just have more inspiration that they can believe they can do it. Sometimes we just need a little of believe that you can bring yourself forward?

How gorgeous!
Shanhai is one of my favorite Chinese restaurant in Local. Their dim sum is tasty and very reasonable, specially if you go there during happy hours. It is so easy that I don't need to travel to central. Also good to have dinner there too. I even saw Jamie oliver there before. This time I tried this new dish! It was really gorgeous!

Energy origin
I had been working and playing hard recently, so much energy at this moment but I don't know where it's comes from. Now I feel I need rest and re-charge. Instantly sweet could give me some energy. Those are part of my energy origin this week.

Feast request
These two days I had friends come over for dinner but both day I didn't have time to prepare. So I just open a fridge when they come over and start cooking. Sometimes it's good not to prepare in advance, then I could create new recipe from what I have in my fridge. We had different kind of small dishes. It's takes time more than making one big dish but I cook while we talk, drink and eat at same time anyway. Only problem is I sometime drink too much and I take it too easy when I cook last dish ... See... even some of photo are out of focus too...
Okura with Korean seaweed: I don't really see Okura in supermarket here but I found it from Turkish shop. Back in Japan, I used to eat this veg quite often. Happy, I found it!

I inherited this recipe from my mum. Great appetizer dish when I miss Japanese food.
I should say this is very advanced level of Japanese because even some Japanese people can't eat this fermented soybeans, or people loves it and eat almost everyday.
Trend in my kitchen at this moment is skewer. This is simple prawn skewer with Turkish yogurt dip.
Butter pan fried Asparagus & Marinated Chicken with dajonase(mustard and mayonnaise) Oh, this was delicious. It is new recipe!!
Another new recipe; Baked Cauliflower with Parmesan, parsley and breadcrumbs skewer.

Picknic at Rosemary Garden
It had been great weather for picnic. Apparently, London fields was named as best picnic spot in London now. Lots of people come from all over London but it became a bit overwhelmed recently. I live just next to London fields and I used to enjoy park so much. However this over crowded stituation make me away from park. It is very sad some people don't respect nature there and there are so many big mountain of rubbish after weekend... So yesterday i went to rosemary garden instead with three diffrent salad . It kept beautiful and very quiet. We had good picnic!

My new flatmate gave me couscous salad to bring picnic, was delicious!

Today's Angel obsessed by my fruits salad, it was first time for him to eat pomegranate and he loved it. He finished it all.
