Mos Burger

I'm still in HK, what I ate today is Japanese Burger. I couldn't miss this SakuSaku(Juicy) Chicken burger... Mos burger is big corporate chain burger shop but I think their quality is quite high. Also they have unique menu. Like different kind of rice burgers, chicken teriyaki burger or shrimp burger etc... Really recommend to try if you going to Japan or south Asia.

Italian horse's shoe

I surprised that they eat sweets for breakfast in Italy when I first went there more than ten years ago. We almost never eat sweet in a morning in Japan. That was totally new to me. Also felt some guilty to eat sweets as a meal... Today, I had this fresh doughnut called Ferro From Italy. Ferro means iron for strenghth in the morning. That's why doughnuts shaped horse's shoes!

Special fried rice

I cooked fried rice for Lunch. There is no role what you put into fried rice. So it's good specially before you are away and want to clean your your fridge. I put cogette, Japanese pickles, salmon and egg this time.

Loafing

I supposed to be in Venice by now but my flight was canceled due to Icelandic volcano ash. So I went to Jogging like every Monday morning. On the way back I stopped this rustic interior cafe; Loafing in Victoria park to have breakfast.

They use Monmouth coffee. Mmm Yummy!

Japanese pasta

This is very Japanese which I miss sometime and cook it for myself. Must be funny mix ingredients with pasta but it works well together. Cod row with Natto(fermentated beans), seaweed and lemon.

From Ginger pig

This Chipolata is from my favorite butcher; Ginger pig in Hackney. (www.thegingerpig.co.uk) All their meat come from their own Yorkshire farm.

Even pork mince taste so different. I cooked Mabo Tofu with it.

Easter weekend

This weekend is Easter and long weekend.

On my way back from Tate Modern, (Exhibition of Arshile Gorky was great!) nice spring walk.

Dinner at Viet Hoa cafe (http://www.viethoarestaurant.co.uk). They recently refurbished and totally changed from canteen to contemporary style interior but food remain same good!

I loved this fish stew with chili and lemon grass.
