Private Chef

Y is private chef has many celebrity clients in hollywood. She invited us for dinner at her place. This week had been hottest time of summer in LA, so we started with Champagne and Oyster!

Asian in LA

There is big Asian community in Los Angels. You feel like in Japan or korea in some place LA. There are many authentic Asian restaurants here.

1. Nanbankan. I love skewer! They do authentic Yakitori!





2.Japanese ramen from Santouka. This is LA Branch from one of famous Ramen shop in Japan.



3. LA has secound largest Korean population after Korean capital; Seoul.



4. Japanese Izakaya; Wakasanchi.
It's worth to go there even if you are not missing Japanese. I would go there if they are in Tokyo too!

Julia Roberts seat

Giorgio Baldi (www.giorgiobaldi.com) is surely one of the finest authentic Italian restaurant in the world. Chef Gorgio is long time private chef for Tom cruise, also this place attract a lot of celebrety people. When I was there, Steave Martin was next to my table. Even more, S told me that Julia roberts was seated my seat last time S was here!

End of evening. Normally Gorgio start drinking and eating after they close restaurant. He sometime invite S for this private time but unfortunatelly he was in Italy for his one month holiday.

Those two place are very stylish multi complax of cafe, deli and restaurants. This is very LA style.

Bottega Louie(http://www.bottegalouie.com/) is the most popular downtown distination at this moment. The place has very high ceiling, fashioned from marble, brass and tile. Please check thier space in thier web site. Then you could really see how gourgeous this space is. Food is also very sofisticated and delicious everyone say! I only had coffee but food looked gourgeous! Next time...

First dinner in LA

I always have funny stomack after flight. So I prefer eat at home rather than eating out. S offered me to cook dinner. We went to Trader Joe's to get some ingredients. I love thier display! It's very pop and fun!


I like wine and smile. Even though I don't have courage to try this wine. Anyone?

La La La Los Angels

Introduction of life in LA. Here is a place I will stay for a week. It's between Beverly hills and UCLA, area called Westwood.



This cafe, Clementine in Westwood will be my breakfast place and Wifi spot. They use only seasonable ingredient. Everything is very fresh and yum***

S told me, we will have fresh Mojito every night after work as aperitif. Wow, such a VIP treat.

End of summer meeting

Catch up with V and had Vietnamese coffee in Broadway market. There was live band playing .



Me, M & E had pizza for dinner together before I leave London. This was the last day of London summer 2009 for me. We celebrated how much we had fun this summer. When I come back from a trip it will be autumn here. Still my summer continue in Los Angels and Tokyo...from now on!
