I'm in Madrid this weekend to see my sister. It had been quite busy so my plan here is no plan.


Welcome olive with feta cheese. Olive is home made from her friend! Yes this is Spain!


Grilled paper, Aubergine, breast chiken with cheese. Her fridge was full of ingredients, so I start cook straight way. I was starving after trip.


Evening, we catch up with couple of friends, share couple of dishes n' drink drink. This is very typical Spanish dish. So called broken egg poteto.

Before I came to Madrid, (yes, I'm in Madrid now) A made me dinner. We both in and out for coming one month and can't see each other, so we had a dinner together to say good luck for both.


So many things to talk with sangria! I made it under A's instruction*


Lasagne with ricotta cheese, not with bechame sauce. In this way, it is much lighter and good for summer! I should learn it too. Thank you A and have a good holiday too!

My first Colombian

My Mac was in a hospital while, so I couldn't up date... but finally he is back!
I was invited by K&F. F made real Colombian food for us.

What coffee mean to you?

Coffee is essential to me in order to start my day. I need to have a good coffee. Monmouth coffee is my favorite coffee place in the world. Every time I went to this coffee shop, they make me very happy.


Evening, I went to dinner with V to Local Turkish place. After meal, we had Turkish coffee and V start saying let's do reading. It's a way to enjoy Turkish coffee! Put your cup up side down and wait till it's get cooler. Then you open your cup and read what it's says. You could read so many things from picture that coffee made inside of cup. We try to imagine what does it mean. The manager of the restaurant asked us how's our reading going? He told us there is a girl she do good for this and he send her over to us.


This was my cup. She told me, Difficult thing is finally getting over and Something new come to me. There is a house where I could be happy and so on.


After you read inside of cup, time to read on the dish. There is big ear in my plate means big news specially from international distance. Also she said I will travel in short distance and long distance soon which is true! Then she find beautiful peacock, that means i will have good period of my life! Also Horse coming to me! How exciting!!

Long time

P is my Italian teacher. She teach me how to make pizza and good pastas when we used to live together. She move to Glasgow for her happiness. So I haven't seen her while. So many things to catch up. Couple grass of wine with Guacamole in Maccondo.

Talk continue in Hoxton grill(In Hoxton hotel). They do good cocktails. Passion fruits margarita, Lichi & Rose cocktail and prosecco with tapas. Finishing with Hoegaarden because her husband joined us after golf. He loves Hoegaarden. He used to bring dozens of Hoegaarden to our place. Good memories.

There are so many Vietnamese restaurants on Kingsland road. More and more restaurants are opening now. This is my one of favorite place at this moment. Que viet(102 Kingsland road). They do good hot pot too.

Don't worry, I don't eat shoes. I just went to Gourmet shoes launch party in Good hood store yesterday. Atmosphere was if I was in Harajuku. A lot of hip stars were there.



Then, head to Stockwell to see gig. There are coupe of live performances, comedy and cabaret. Here is more like Shimokitazawa. Tokyo night in London. Fun Fun Fun!

Lemonade after jogging

I haven't done jogging couple of weeks. I felt my body is stiff and in need of exercise. Yesterday, E joined me in Victoria park. We were quite happy to feel refresh and achievement. Also this lemonade gave me extra freshness after jogging.

My speciality

Couple of friends come over for dinner. We had seven different dishes but I enjoyed the night so much, end up I only took one photo. Still this is one of my speciality, Scallop marinated with Miso paste!

Lemon tree

A beautiful person gave me this lemon tree begging of this year. Tree had nearly 30 lemons on it. I used them all. Now they start having flower then they begin to bear fruits again.

Paella

A made me real paella. I'm quite curious to know all regional food because there are always reasons why people love it and why it became their traditional food. Climate, soil and culture are always have strong influence. It is very interesting. That's one of my topic I'm learning at this moment. Also how each dishes defined as their special. Anyway, back to A's Paella, it was the one of best paella I ever had. I will learn soon, Exciting!

I love my day off

Yesterday, I went to BBQ party and today I had melon as breakfast, following by leak & potato soup for lunch in secret cafe in hackney wick, then cakes from Albion at home! I wish everyday is Monday.
